I’m trying not to cry because I just said goodbye to Tara. Although I’ll be seeing her in literally three days, our whole experience in Pittsburgh is officially coming to a close. My mind keeps jumping back to the first days that I got here… not knowing a soul in the city, wondering if I would like my job, worried that i might not get along with this random girl. And it turns out that Tara is the most incredible friend. And that my job went beyond all expectations. And that I have had the best time of my life here.

I can’t wait to get home. I miss my Cincy and home friends to death. And yet it’s still really, really hard to come to terms with the fact that this beautiful experience is at its end.

A new print! This one’s part of the inaugural Kitsune Noir Poster Club (along with Frank Chimero, Mark Weaver, Cody Hoyt and Garrett Vander Leun), where everybody was asked to respond to one of their favourite novels. I chose Thoreau’s Walden.

It’s available from Society6 in three different sizes as a gallery-quality Giclée on 100gsm cotton rag matte paper. DO IT!

made a transparency,
made a screen,
and made some prints!

i’m pretty damn proud of them. just wish i had found this place earlier. i only spent ten bucks!

I vote yes. And Florida isn’t my first choice either but isn’t that where they all flock to? Somewhere on the coast for sure though.

Let this be a lesson to you: don’t wait too long to get something you want. I was going to ask for this autobiographical mug for christmas and now the onion online store isn’t selling it anymore. maybe i’ll just make it myself?

Three stone shaped containers; the top white one is for salt, the middle dark gray one is for pepper and the bottom one is for a dipping sauce, like soy. It’s already beautiful as it is, but the fact that the stones each have a different surface treatment — one is glazed and glossy, one is untreated and matte — is just another lovely feature to make this salt and pepper set even more special.
